About
The places we live in have a history, and one way in which we recognise that history is through the buildings and monuments that are built there. This history reflects a number of different influences - geography, the rule of different kings, soil, agri-climate, religion, and much more. Kaliloka is an initiative to document, conserve and celebrate this past. Drawing upon the interest and skill of a diverse set of stakeholders - architects, historians, planners, policy-makers, etc. - Kaliloka will work to make the places that we live in exhibit the vernacular traditions of their built forms.
